Matt entered the drilling industry in 2006, following his family’s footsteps of working in the mining industry. He put in the work and learned from some of the industry’s best drillers, eventually working his way into project management.

He has spent most of his career working on various surface projects from the large Elko, Nevada mines to remote mines and fly jobs in Alaska.

His journey has given him ample experience working underground as well, with most of his time below surface in Nevada, with tours in Alaska and Idaho.

Matt is a dedicated husband and father of three kids (two daughters and a son) and lives in Richland, Washington.
